  Stefanie runs a fantastic program. Our 7 year old daughter has been taking regular lessons as well as participating in the summer camp program (2 sessions) and there are several things that stand out about Stefanie's Academy. First, she is seriously a great riding teacher - I've watched her break down a challenging subject (the rhythm needed to post the trot) into perfectly sized bites, going from stumped to "getting it" in the second half of a single lesson. Second, her horses and facility are meticulously cared for. And, Stefanie absolutely gets kids - she does not coddle (the girls have responsibilities and are expected to listen and work, both at riding and at the less exciting parts like grooming and cleaning tack and painting jumps) but she rewards with smiles and praise each and every time a student earns them. It's been an incredible summer and we look forward to lots more time with this great school.
